About Old Oak Bible Church

Old Oak Bible Church was founded in 1977 as The Chapel in Middleburg Heights, Inc. Meeting in school buildings the first nine years of it's existence, Old Oak Bible Church built and moved into its present location in 1986. It is a Bible-teaching, non-denominational church with no mainline affiliation. The Senior Pastor is David L. Butler with elder/pastors Joseph Ballard and Bill Barbee. Pastor Butler and Joseph Ballard are also cofounders of Old Oak Bible Church.

Old Oak Bible Church has a ministry to the local community, a ministry to boys and girls (AWANA Clubs International), a unique ministry to engaged couples (Marriage Plus Ministries), an ex-offender ministry (Out of the Woods Ministries), and Old Oak and Little Acorns Childcare and Learning Center.

Old Oak Bible Church's 24,000 square foot building has a 300 seat sanctuary, a fellowship lobby, offices, an education wing, and a gymnasium with additional classrooms, all of which sit on a beautiful, six-acre wooded lot. The church grounds have a scenic picnic pavilion, two gazebos, a ball field, a 200 car paved parking lot, and a playground. In 2003 an electronic display sign was added to the church campus - the first of its kind in the city! 2006 saw the addition of a Fellowship Hall, new education spaces, as well as Old Oaks and Little Acorns Childcare and Learning Center.
