Our ministry is SECOND to those outside of our church family:
-We fund, staff and operate Old Oaks & Little Acorns Child Care to assist area working moms with the care for the children that gives them peace of mind.
-We fund, staff and operate AWANA Clubs each Wednesday night of the school year! This affords kids age 3 to high school, the chance to be part of something bigger than themselves! Something that is fun, educational and jam packed with opportunities for the development of relational skills. Kids learn and use the lost art of memorization!
-We fund, staff and operate Out-of-the-Woods Ministries in an attempt to help the unemployed or the unemployable to learn how to honestly earn money to support their children, with the hope of getting their attention spiritually speaking, also.
-We fund, staff and operate Marriage Plus Ministries for the singles, and the divorced of our area who have lost fellowship with the church of their youth, and we help return their attention to the truth of Scripture as it relates to marriage, to divorce, and to remarriage.
-We fund, staff and operate Helms Hall, offering wonderful food, excellent service, and Cleveland's best value for those seeking a venue for their special event. But in addition to the tasty food and reasonable prices, the Lord again enables us to generate jobs for those in need.
Our ministry is first to those who are a part of our congregation through either their physical birth into our watch care, or through their public profession of faith and baptism, or through a transfer of letter from a church of like faith and practice.
Our ministries take on many forms, but are not limited to:
-Daily devotionals that take the individual into God's Word, prayer for one another, verbal and written encouragement, personal visits when helpful; and
-Weekly gathering(s) for singing, corporate prayer, testimonies, the reading of Scripture, expository preaching/Bible study, stewardship, baptism, communion, nursery ministry, children's church, mid-week moms' group(s), AWANA Clubs for kids, teen ministries, recreation in our gym, in kid's world or on our ball fields, etc; and
-occasional ministries such as our: -Women of Faith Seminars that include fellowship, Bible study, prayer, food and crafts; -Men's Prayer Breakfasts that include fellowship, a Bible challenge, food and projects important to the church family
